Karl Huenerberg - Guitar, Vocals  ////     Born in 1974, Karl grew up a Star Wars and Transformers geek.  His first taste of music was Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest and Motley Crue.  He started playing guitar in 1989, where he discovered Metallica and even more Ozzy.  He graduated Princeton High School in 1992, after which he met Jeff Jenkins and started Avalanche Lilly.

Karl notes his influences as being John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Paul Gilbert (Racer X, Mister Big), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne), Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper, Savatage), Mark Tremonti (Creed, Alter Bridge) and Todd Whitener (Days of the New, Tantric).  He spins any Dream Theater, Collective Soul, Caroline's Spine, Tantric or Alter Bridge.  Currently, Karl is heavily involved in a side project with the skin flute and trombone-a-phone. 

The drink of choice at this point would be Spotted Cow or Bock for beer, and Kessler and Coke for a mixer.  When he's not trying to stay on his wife's good side, he's usually checking out "Family Guy" or "Adult Swim".  Both Karl and Scott can prove to be encyclopedias on anything Peter Griffin.

Scott Neary - Drums ////  Scott is originally from North Dakota, but has since migrated to a different state of mind.  He is now a resident of Beaver Dam, and, incidentally, knows nothing about beavers.  He wreaks havoc on a quiet neighborhood with his wife Samantha (Sam) and their two cats, Monroe and Charlie. 

Scott spends most of his time chasing around three year old Sophia and little one Siddnie; they keep the man of house waiting on them, hand and foot.

Scott spends a great deal of his time in his basement studio, as well as his job requires him to drive around the state for work.  He plays a variety of equipment such as Tama, Zildjian, etc., and possesses skills in the recording and live sound arenas.  He's also pretty good at blowing up his home computer.

Norm Toennes - Vocals ////  Norm is the latest addition to Avalanche Lilly, bringing many years of vocal experience to the band.  He's got some history in the Princeton area, but currently resides in Oshkosh with his wife Rene. 

He knows Karl from way back, and when we heard that his status was changing to "available", we had to get him.  He brings a chilling rendition of Seven Mary Three, as well as Jet and Shinedown, among others.

Marc Sonnenberg - Bass, Vocals ////  Marc is a hardcore native of Ripon ("don't knock my town, man."); he currently resides there with his girlfiend Lynn, his daughters Stephanie and Jennifer, and Lynn's sons Scott and Andy.  Captain and Diet Coke, as well as Lite Beer, are the current drinks of choice.  Fire pits, walkin' the dog (literally), and some "unmentionable" activities would be the things he loves to do the most.  He also attempts to keep the band website as current as possible.

Marc likes to listen to the current stuff -- Three Days Grace, Sevendust, Foo Fighters, Chevelle, Slipknot, etc. -- as well as the stuff that turned him on originally -- Van Halen, Dream Theater, Metallica, and the like.
